A Good Desi Rom-Com Book is BACK!!

WHAT A WELL WRITTEN CHAOTIC DESI ROMANCE THIS WAS!!??

I still need to process how can someone write a book this witty, I mean all the dramatic scenes, Kim's monologues (top tier!!) and the filmy references? A. T. E.

Being completely honest, this book took me by surprise because I did not expect to feel all these emotions. I was laughing, sad, angry at the characters (specifically Dharam) and at the same time going "aww that is so cute". I could relate with Kim so much at so many points because of the elder sister thing and my heart broke at so many points seeing her make peace with the life she had. And that is why when Dharam came in the picture and made her smile, I was like "YASSS" but that happiness did not last long because, well I'm not going to spoil it for you.

Andie and Aran's story left me shocked if I want to sum it up. But what a gentleman Aran is 🤌

I did not find one thing I did not like in this book because the author delivered, with everything. Banter? Check ✔️. Drama? Check ✔️. Full bollywood desi rom-com chaos?? One hundred percent check ✔️

A very small thing that I would have loved if it was there was if we got a little more of Kim and Dharam's after getting into relationship moments.

Regardless, this book has everything to qualify for a movie adaptation so I am praying and manifesting it gets picked up 🤞.

If you are in a mood of a feel good , desi romance with A LOT of drama and chaos, this is for you!!
